LOOKBOOK OF AFW’17

One of the premier fashion weeks of India, Amazon India Fashion Week showcased its Autumn/Winter collection with a myriad of amazingly talented designers this week. Let’s have a look at our top picks for this season and the outfit inspirations we will carry forward into this season’s styling.

>> Krishna Mehta

Earthy hues and nature inspired appliques; that’s what Krishna Mehta’s line was all about. Voluminous drapes and flowy silhouettes complemented the already appealing ensembles and we’re crushing on how subdued yet vibrant this collection was.

>> Hemant & Nandita

Leave it to these two to show give us those French feels this season with their neutral color palette and lots of pastel pink and bishop sleeves and so many bows and ruffles!

>> Pankaj & Nidhi

Pankaj & Nidhi gave us major #monochrome goals in shades of black, white & grey with an occasional pop of blue. Oversized silhouettes and everyday prints turned into their creative best, who can deny the appeal of print on print done the right way?

>> Namrata Joshipura

Alia Bhatt in a one shoulder fringe dress was the highlight of the show. The other highlights were the clothes themselves that had edgy psychedelic prints combined with rocker-chic colors and crisp silhouettes.

>> Grand Finale : Tarun Tahiliani x Amit Aggarwal

The Amazon India Fashion Week AW17 wrapped up with mesmerizing collections from these two iconic designers, the theme for which was #FreshNewLook. The whole collection screamed ‘drama’, right from the silhouettes to the colors to the backdrop (obviously). We have absolutely no words to describe how beautiful it was so why don’t you take a look and come up with some of your own?

With the wrap up of Amazon Fashion Week AW17, the births of several new trends have taken place and we’re excited to see how the fashion world incorporates them in their own way!
