Working at a startup is not a cakewalk. It comes with its own set of issues and it can be challenging to say the least. But it has its own perks, and if the startup is doing good then you’ll be a part of the core team when it makes it big. What could be better? Here we’ve listed a few more things about how it’s like to work in a startup.
>> The energy is almost always fresh. Most startups are led by young people and freshers, hence it’s buzzing with new ideas about how to take something forward.
>> Working for long or odd hours is a thing that an employee at a startup will have to face at least once in his/her tenure. This happens because usually a startup is not as organized as an already established company might be.
>> Since it’s not a huge group of people working at a startup, your colleagues become like your family away from family. You have your meals together, ideate together and have a good time while working.
>> There is no real work pressure compared to one you’ll face in an established company. That’s because everybody is still learning including people on a higher post than you are.
At a startup, you may have a certain post but mostly you’ll be helping another department in some way or the other. This helps you multitask, learn something that you never thought you’d try out yourself, and add perks to your resume.
This is just a gist of what comes your way if you decide to work at a startup, we’re sure those of you who are already working at one will have a lot more experiences up your sleeve!
